OUR IMPACT
Warrior Surf Foundation is changing the way Veterans are accessing mental health care by incorporating evidence-based practices into 100% free programming created and implemented by the community that surrounds them. By having boots on the ground, we are best positioned to understand, advocate and provide for the needs of Veterans.

I came through the program without many expectations. I could not be happier that I pushed myself to try something new and get over my discomfort. The personal growth I have had during and since completing the 12-week program is immeasurable. I can honestly say that I am not the same, and hopefully never will be again. I was stuck in endless cycles of anxiety and depression and my coping behaviors were entirely unhealthy. Since then, I have incorporated so many new practices and tools in coping with anxiety and depression that I never knew were so accessible. Warrior Surf taught me the importance of pushing myself, accountability with others and again with myself, and the value of being present in the moment. One of the biggest things I gained through this experience was community. I didn’t even realize that one of the biggest things from the military I was missing was camaraderie, and that is something I have regained with Warrior Surf.
